About Energy Leadership

Energy leadership is the process that develops a personally effective style of leadership that positively influences and changes not only yourself, but also those with whom you work and interact, as well as your organization as a whole.

The American heritage dictionary defines a manager as someone who controls.  Being effective leaders in the 21st century requires letting go of the autocratic, dictatorial, controlling stereotype we have witnessed over the last half century.   Today’s leader must be participatory and flexible, yet also powerful enough to inspire others.  Unfortunately no formula is available that can teach the ideal leadership style, since what works for some people doesn’t work for others and what works at times doesn’t work all the time.  Any particular leader’s style is based on previous learning and experiences, while the nature of energy and people as energetic beings is always changing.  As a consequence, today’s leaders must not only have a great deal of knowledge and experience, they must be flexible and open to change as well.

Who are Leaders

Leaders are quite visible within small and large businesses. We tend to think of them as business owners and CEO’s, as well as people at all levels of management.  In fact we all are leaders in our world and community.  We interact with others on regular bases that are leaders. You see, we all lead either by choice or default.   If you don’t think of yourself as leader then you are limited in your thinking. Leading is the way we help move people into action, ourselves included.  This question is not whether we are leaders, but how well we lead.  Our leadership ability determines how we communicate with anyone we do business with, how we develop mutually supportive and sustaining relationships and most importantly, how much energy we can muster to motivate ourselves to take action, sometimes life altering action to live our most powerful, productive and purposeful lives.

The “E” Factor

Catabolic energy is the breakdown or destructive thoughts and behaviors

Anabolic is the building process or constructive beliefs, emotions and behavior

While each thought has its own energetic value, know that our combined thoughts create our Average Resonating level of Energy or (A.R.L.) or the E-Factor.

There are 7 levels of energy or consciousness.  Your energetic level is noted as your Average (the various levels combined) Resonating (how your level vibrates), Level of Energy (Your inner energy, which manifests in your outer energy or you’re A.R.L.  or your E-Factor.

Why I use Energy Leadership with my clients

What experience in your life can you point to that clearly illustrates the principles or levels of Energy Leadership?

Deciding I wanted more out of my life than my corporate job was a defining moment for me.  I had been in my job 22 years, did very well, was consistently in the top 4% of the company for sales.   As the company continued to get bigger and bigger, I felt that I was no longer appreciated or recognized for all the hard work I put in every day.  The environment had become toxic and so had I.  I was feeling like a victim and was angry.  Once I decided to make a change and lay out my plan B to move from the corporate job, my energy level was immediately moving up into higher levels, because now I had a plan, I had created a way out of the corporate job.

I use Energy Leadership with my clients that need a clear direction on where they want to go and what may be holding them back and how to get there.  Most of my clients are small to medium business owners that have a business that sales are flat or declining. We go through the assessment and debrief and discover what issues or roadblocks they feel are getting in the way of them achieving their goals or increasing their revenue.  We clearly outline their strategy with goals and actions and timelines so they can see progress and achievement and increased sales every step of the way.   Most of my clients see at least a 20% increase in sales after going through the Energy Leadership process.
